It is an indisputable fact that mental strength plays an important part in the success story of any matter and education is not an exception. The student has to be positive throughout and has to purge out all sorts of low self-confidence, negative thoughts, lack of will power etc.
To start with he must remind himself of the GOAL of his study. Is it to merely pass the examination or to understand the concept and be a very good CS professional? If it is former, merely memorizing the topics and some important sections may be sufficient but if it is (and it should be) the latter, then he should understand the ‘why’ of every provisions in law. CS is basically law based course and every law has to be coordinated. He should think as a professional even when studying. For example, Company law, SEBI laws, FEMA so on and so forth are interrelated. He should imagine that he is already a professional and if a lay man approaches him to start a company or for any legal opinion, how should he handle the situation. Then the subject will not be tiring or boring and he will start to look for the ‘why’ of everything.
After setting the goal, he should conduct an honest SWOT analysis of himself. The strengths and weaknesses vary from person to person. The positive factors may relate to command over language, perseverance, strong will power, concentration, aptitude to learn new things, ‘never to give up’ attitude, availability of good coaching etc. The weaknesses may be lethargy, procrastination etc. Once he decides to be the best professional, he should make all attempts to overcome the negatives and imbibe the positivity. Let him take each of his negatives and overcome them as soon as possible. This will help him not to ponder over his problems. At the end of each day, let him find out whether he is still a slave of his old unproductive habits or he is proceeding towards positive road to success.
We will continue with this but in the meantime, if there are any specific problems and solutions are needed, please let us know and if possible we will try to solve them.
ALL THE BEST,
